SAMP

Crawler-mounted vibratory sampler for shallow ground investigation.

Compact field sampler for shallow survey and sampling work on coastal and soft-ground sites. A vibratory head running to 160 Hz and 160 kN of output force drives the string, with a 2,530 N·m rotary head on the same feed, and the rig carries itself on its own crawler undercarriage behind a 180 hp deck engine. An on-board mud pump and a high-pressure water pump handle flush, and the feed pulls 7,800 kgf on the way out.

Max Pull-up
7800kgf
Oscillation Frequency
0–160Hz
