A rig is the work of three groups whose handoffs are short and deliberate. The same engineers who specify it walk the floor where it's built; the crews who commission it bring what they learned back to the bench.
Design & R&D
Hydraulic schematic, structural mast, controls, rotary head - the same group that drew it stays close to it through fabrication, commissioning, and the first seasons in the field. Drawings get walked to the shop, not emailed across a wall.
Manufacturing
Heavy structural welding, mast fit-up, and integration of rotary heads, carousels, and hydraulics into the chassis. Each assembly is checked against the drawing it was built from, by people who can read both.
Field service
On-site commissioning, fault-finding, and operator training - dispatched from Sankari to wherever a rig is working. Service learnings feed back into the next revision of the drawing.

Welding
Structural welds run to approved procedures; critical joints are visually inspected and, where the spec calls for it, dye-penetrant or ultrasonically checked.
Hydraulics
Every hydraulic assembly is pressure-tested before it leaves the bay. Hose routings are traceable to the drawing they were built from.
Pre-dispatch
Each rig completes a function check - mast raise, rotation, feed, and rod-handling cycles - under load before it leaves the plant.
Traceability
Major sub-assemblies carry build records linking them to the operators who fabricated them and the inspector who signed off.
